Delete Your Data

This page explains how to delete your data from Goli Time. It is also our User data deletion instructions for Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform.

Option 1 – Delete on WhatsApp (instant)

1. Open your Goli Time chat on WhatsApp.
2. Type DELETE (or DELETE MY DATA, or मिटाएं) and send it.
3. You will get a message confirming that all your data has been deleted.

This works at any time, in any step of the chat, even if you have not finished setting up.

Option 2 – Ask by email

If you cannot use WhatsApp, for example if you have lost your phone, or if you are a nominee acting for a user, email support@golitime.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the WhatsApp number to be deleted. To protect you, we may confirm the request by sending a message to that number or ask for reasonable proof. We will complete the deletion within 7 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your phone number and account record (name, language, time zone, dose times, trial details, consent record)
• All medicines, including any list waiting for confirmation
• All reminder history and your Taken / Skip / Snooze replies
• Service records linked to your number

Deleted records are overwritten in our database. Prescription photos are never stored, so there is nothing to delete.

What is not deleted by us

• Your WhatsApp chat stays on your phone. Delete it in WhatsApp if you wish.
• Meta's copies of messages are handled by Meta under WhatsApp's terms.
• Technical logs contain only masked numbers and are overwritten automatically within a short time.
• Payment and invoice records (when paid plans exist) are kept only as long as tax law requires.

Only want to stop messages?

Type STOP to pause reminders without deleting your data, and START to resume.

After deleting, if you message Goli Time again, you will be treated as a new user and asked for consent again. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
